Airsoft is a sport based loosely on paintball, but instead of pellets loaded with paint 6mm pellets are used instead.
The equipment used to fire these pellets are generally very realistic replica firearms powered by either battery, gas or spring power.

Many of the players of this sport dress in very accurate and realistic military clothing and equipment, and the tactics used during games are often based on real military tactics with use of radio's and hand signal (not rude ones!) common place.

Some teams base themselves on modern day special forces, whilst others base themselves on troops from other era's such as WWII.
